The Rental Shop Associate is responsible for handling rental, retail, and ticket transactions in a fast-paced ski rental shop environment. This role plays a key part in delivering a positive guest experience by providing efficient and accurate service, fitting rental equipment, and ensuring all shop operations align with Mission Ridge’s service standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems. This position requires both technical and interpersonal skills to assist guests effectively and contribute to the overall success of daily operations.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. One to three months of related experience and/or training is preferred, though equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Employees must obtain current ski binding certifications, which will be provided and facilitated by the employer.
The Rental Shop Associate primarily works indoors in a busy, guest-facing environment. The pace can be fast, especially during peak hours and weekends. The workspace involves close interaction with coworkers and customers, moderate noise levels, and exposure to winter sports equipment.
