Job summary

ICES: Data, Discovery, Better Health seeks an On-Site IT Support Technician in Oklahoma City for a temporary engagement from Oct 19, 2026 through Dec 31, 2026. You will work onsite across the client's OKC facilities with standard business hours.

Responsibilities include acting as on-site eyes and hands, fielding tickets, diagnosing basic hardware issues, escorting incoming IT personnel, and supporting the transition with the broader remote team.

On-Site IT Support Technician — Oklahoma City Market (Temporary)

Engagement dates: October 19, 2026 through December 31, 2026
Location: On-site across the client's Oklahoma City facilities
Schedule: Standard business hours, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Background: The client's OKC market is being acquired by a new ownership group, with turnover set for January 1, 2027. The market's current IT engineer has moved into another role and has travel commitments through year-end, leaving gaps in on-site coverage during an active transition period with heavy vendor and incoming-owner IT activity. This role bridges that gap.

Responsibilities

Act as the on-site "eyes and hands" for IT across the client's OKC facilities, working alongside the existing help desk to field and resolve day-to-day tickets. Diagnose basic hardware issues and provide desk-side support to staff. Escort the incoming owner's IT personnel and vendors through facilities for system and MDF room access. Assist with a facility recycling/equipment disposal project already underway. Relay requests between the incoming owner and the client's support team during the transition, and escalated beyond scope to the client's broader remote engineering team or Netrio's help desk rather than resolving independently.

Required qualifications

Basic hardware troubleshooting ability and the competence to follow direction without close supervision. Comfortable working as part of a distributed team, monitoring messages/tickets, and taking direction remotely.

Preferred qualifications

Some networking background (comfortable in a switch room) is preferred over pure PC deployment/imaging experience, since the role leans more toward basic network and hardware support than large-scale deployment work. Prior healthcare facility or multi-site field support experience is a plus but not required.
