Job summary

Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES is seeking an IT Support Tech I located in LeRoy to provide desktop and mobile device software/hardware support. You will analyze and resolve IT problems under supervision and perform related duties.

Required qualifications include an associate’s degree or higher in CS/engineering tech or a related field, or equivalent combinations of education and experience. Salary ranges from $40,560 to $43,947 with opportunities to work across Mt. Morris and Keshequa districts.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in CS/Engineering Tech or related field required
• Associate’s Degree + 12 college credits in CS/Engineering Tech or related field required
• High school diploma and 2 years IT support experience required or equivalent
• Equivalent combination of training and experience considered

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and mobile device software/hardware support and installation
• Analyze and resolve problems related to IT systems under supervision
• Note: position supports Mt. Morris and Keshequa districts
• Perform related work as required

Education

Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering Technology or related field

Associate’s Degree + twelve college credits in Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field

High school diploma or GED + two years full-time IT support experience

Equivalent combination of training and experience
