Job summary

Apt is seeking an IT Specialist to join our team and keep our technology environment secure and efficient. You will provide hands-on technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain IT systems across the organization.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure users have the technology and support they need to stay productive, while contributing to IT initiatives and fostering cybersecurity awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience providing end-user IT support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve helpdesk tickets with minimal downtime.
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN and cloud-based network environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, customer-focused technical support to end users for hardware, software, network, system access, and other IT-related issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues submitted through helpdesk tickets, phone calls, or in-person requests, minimizing downtime and disruption to business operations.
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, network equipment, and other IT peripherals.
• Deploy software updates, patches, and security fixes across desktops, servers, and other IT systems while maintaining compliance with policies.
• Assist with administration and maintenance of key IT systems including Active Directory, email, file servers, and backup solutions.
• Provide user training and guidance on technology and cybersecurity best practices.
