Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Computer User Support Specialist to join our Air Force / Space team at Nellis AFB. This role supports the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services contract.

Responsibilities include analytical support, network/user/systems support, helpdesk, troubleshooting, and security monitoring. Must have TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8140 IAT-II certification, and experience in a Windows AD IT support environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 2+ years direct/related IT experience.
• Active / valid DoD 8140 IAT-II certification.
• Experience in a Windows AD environment as part of an IT support team.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical techniques and procedures in support of clients, systems, and networks.
• Identify, prioritize, and resolve reported issues, including creating network user accounts and configuring email.
• Field user calls, determine required support level, and route to appropriate tiers (Tier 2/3).
• Troubleshoot account management, enterprise resources applications, server administration, networking, and application issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and communications issues on workstations and apps.
• Perform security patching, document corrective actions, collect audits, and monitor systems and networks.
• Install and test hardware and software.
