Job summary

TekSynap is seeking a Journeyman Computer User Support Specialist to support the United States Air Force, 53rd Wing at Nellis AFB, NV. The role provides day-to-day helpdesk support for SAP, SCI and DoD activities, including software installation, account setup, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• IAM I certification required.
• 3–5 years of IT experience.
• BS degree in CS, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience as System/Network Administrator or IT/Assurance Specialist.
• Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
• Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support, research and resolve technical problems, and document progress.
• Install software and support upgrades.
• Update knowledge base with resolutions.
• Configure hardware/software per computing standards and support network/desktop.
• Monitor and enforce IT policies and procedures.
• Assist with creating new IDAM users and LDAP profiles.
• Install/configure computers, monitors, network gear, printers, scanners.
• Maintain and repair PCs and Windows applications across systems.
