Job summary

MTS in San Diego seeks an IT Support Specialist to assist internal staff with desktop, printer, and peripheral issues. You will diagnose hardware and software problems, install software, and provide user training while maintaining system reliability. Strong knowledge of AD, Intune, Windows 11, and Microsoft 365 is expected.

Successful candidates will participate in on-call rotation, adhere to IT standards, and document activities in Freshservice. Bachelor’s in IT or relevant certs preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with Windows 11, Apple macOS, and standard office software.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT service management tools and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as initial contact for technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Provide user support for software installations, updates, and basic training.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-tier IT teams as needed.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
