Job summary

Uniti is seeking an IT Technical Support Specialist to assist internal customers with computer issues, software installations, configurations, and connectivity. The role requires handling complex problems in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional customer service while coordinating with multiple teams.

The candidate should have an Associates degree in a technical field and 5 years of related experience (Bachelor’s may substitute).

Qualifications

• Associates degree in technical field
• 5 years’ directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and directly related technical experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for some experience as deemed appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Resolve internal Uniti customer computer issues
• Software installations/Removal
• Configuration
• Connectivity
• General IT related issues
• Resolve tickets in a timely fashion by adhering to departments SLA
• Work from IT ticketing system independently as assigned
• Ability to work in a small group environment
• Document steps taken for resolutions
• Engaging other Uniti teams when necessary to resolve issues
• Proactively identifying problems and finding resolutions
• Communicating complex technical issues to non-technical customers
• Attention to detail & organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Project participation, overtime, and travel as required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Performs other duties as assigned
