Job summary

Sysco is seeking an IT Local Support Specialist to assist the ST infrastructure team with hardware and software support across facilities, including workstations, laptops, PDA devices, printers, and network equipment. You will train staff, contribute to IT policy improvements, and participate in hardware roadmap sessions.

Responsibilities include local escalation handling, OS deployment, software licensing, and on-site support. Up to 25% travel, after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required with at least 5 years of end-user technology support experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to interact with various levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize support calls using the enterprise ticketing system and provide frequent updates to tickets.
• Provide onsite hands-on support for devices (workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices) and peripherals.
• Coordinate OS deployments, ensure software license compliance, and assist with hardware/software upgrades.
