Job summary

Crawford Mechanical Services, a Quantum Industrial company, is seeking an IT Support Specialist II to deliver Level 1 and Level 2 technical support across offices and construction job sites. You will assist with devices, Microsoft 365, and business apps, escalating complex issues to the IT Manager or MSP as needed.

The role requires 2+ years in IT support, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to travel between locations.

Qualifications

Two or more years of IT support, desktop support, help desk, or similar role.
Experience supporting Windows computers and Microsoft 365.
Ability to set up and troubleshoot computers, printers, monitors, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Basic understanding of networking and wireless technology.
Strong troubleshooting skills and escalation when needed.
Professional, customer-service oriented communication with employees and field personnel.
Ability to work independently, prioritize requests, and coordinate with internal teams.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between locations and job sites.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Windows computers, laptops, printers, monitors, mobile devices, software, and connectivity issues.
Respond to support requests, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems to the IT Manager or MSP.
Set up equipment, accounts, software, and access for new employees; assist with offboarding and equipment collection.
Prepare and deploy replacement devices and maintain equipment inventory and assignment records.
Support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
Assist with Power Apps and other Microsoft tools, and learn new systems as introduced.
Troubleshoot basic network and wireless issues; support office technology, cameras, and access-card readers.
Provide hands-on technology support at offices, job sites, and trailers; assist with upgrades and moves.
Document troubleshooting solutions and follow IT and security procedures.
