Job summary

Child Development Schools in Columbus, GA is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide first-line technical assistance to end users via phone, in person, and through a ticketing system. You will document actions and resolutions, prioritize issues, and assist with onboarding and equipment configuration.

You will coordinate with vendors and troubleshoot workstations, printers, and software while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Candidates must provide first-line IT support to end users.
Strong written and verbal communication for ticket documentation.
Ability to prioritize issues and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

Answer phone calls and emails and enter or update IT Support tickets from end users requiring technical support.
Ensure all issues, actions taken, and resolutions are documented in the IT Support ticketing system.
Monitor ticketing system and respond to and triage new issues quickly.
Evaluate urgency of IT issues and prioritize accordingly.
Provide exceptional customer service while resolving IT issues.
Configure and troubleshoot workstations, printers, software, and hardware.
Assist with onboarding of new users and configuration of new sites’ equipment.
Proactively identify and resolve IT issues not yet reported.
Escalate issues to IT Support Supervisor or higher-level teams when needed.
Coordinate with network and telephone vendors for troubleshooting.
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or director.
