Empath Health in West Palm Beach is seeking an IT Support Specialist for an on-site role to address day-to-day technology needs across the organization. You will troubleshoot, set up equipment, and support ongoing IT initiatives in a mission-driven healthcare setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for end users, resolving hardware, software, and system issues both remotely and on-site.
• Install, configure, and deploy end user equipment, ensuring systems are set up efficiently and correctly from day one.
• Maintain and track IT equipment inventory, supporting lifecycle management and availability of resources.
• Document issues, resolutions, and trends to improve response times and prevent recurring problems.
• Partner with IT team members to support projects, system upgrades, and ongoing infrastructure initiatives.
• Deliver responsive, service-oriented support while escalating more complex issues when appropriate.

What you'll Do

What You'll Need

• Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred) in a related field
• Strong foundational knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft Office, and end user hardware (Dell, HP, mobile devices)
• Experience providing hands-on technical support, including remote troubleshooting and help desk support
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Valid Florida driver’s license with reliable transportation to support on-site needs
