Job summary

The U.S. Army MWR IT division at Fort Riley, Kansas seeks a Help Desk/IT Support specialist to provide first-line technical support, diagnose incidents, and maintain hardware and software.

You will train users, set system security levels, document procedures, and help ensure accreditation compliance; two-page resume required; willingness for shifts including nights and weekends; background checks and E-Verify as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Two-page resume or less required.
• Experience with data processing, system installation, and general management principles.
• Ability to set system security levels per regulations.
• Willingness to obtain A+ and Security+ within 120 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support as a help desk representative.
• Diagnose and resolve problems from customer-reported incidents.
• Research problematic trends and patterns; install, configure, troubleshoot hardware and software.
• Provide training to enhance user performance and enforce security levels.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures for compliance.
