Job summary

Nemean Solutions, LLC seeks a System Administrator to support the Army University G-6 Desktop IT Support contract at Fort Leavenworth, KS. The role involves installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting ArmyU IT systems, networks, and classroom technology across a multi-building campus.

This position emphasizes reliable IT operations, cybersecurity, RMF/IA compliance, and direct user support for ArmyU staff, faculty, and students, with potential after-hours surge capacity as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT, CS or related field.
• 2–4 years of system administration or desktop support experience.
• DoD 8570.01-M IA Technical Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
• Familiarity with Windows OS, Active Directory, and imaging solutions.
• Understanding of Army IT compliance, RMF and IA requirements preferred.
• Experience with help desk/ticketing systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain CAC access and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I/II system administration and user support for desktops, laptops, printers, and classroom IT systems.
• Perform imaging, patching, and security updates per Army IT standards.
• Support account management, ticket remediation, and user troubleshooting via in-person, phone, email, and remote tools.
• Assist with hardware lifecycle tasks: staging, installation, recovery, and turn-in of devices.
• Validate classroom and conference room IT equipment functionality and remediation.
• Install, configure, and maintain software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Army tools).
• Document support requests and update SOPs/TTPs; generate weekly/monthly reporting.
• Adhere to Army cybersecurity, information assurance, and physical security requirements.
