The role is approximately 80% desktop and onsite technical support and 20% networking. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being on the floor, solving problems directly, and taking ownership of a site’s IT needs—not someone seeking a primarily remote help desk position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other workplace technology.
- Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, software, connectivity, and user-access issues.
- Support warehouse technology, including barcode scanners and related peripherals.
- Set up and deploy workstations, image devices, and manage equipment replacements.
- Handle employee onboarding and offboarding, including account access and device preparation.
- Troubleshoot basic network issues involving switches, Wi‑Fi, cabling, and patch panels; escal… more complex issues as appropriate.
- Maintain IT inventory, document issues and resolutions, and coordinate with vendors or external support partners.
- Serve as the sole onsite IT point of contact, prioritizing requests and keeping the facility operational.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands‑on IT support, desktop support, field support, or a similar role preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows devices, Microsoft 365, hardware, and peripherals.
- Working knowledge of basic networking, including switches, Wi‑Fi, and physical connectivity.
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly with nontechnical employees, and manage competing priorities.
- Experience supporting a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing facility, or MSP is a plus.
- Experience with barcode scanners and other warehouse technology is a plus.
- CompTIA A+ is preferred but not required.
Location: Fort Worth, TX — five days onsite. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
