Job summary

The Kendall Group is a growing IT team seeking an IT Support Specialist to help monitor, install, and maintain computers, networks, and software across our locations.

Reporting to the IT Support Manager, you will handle escalated tickets, manage IT inventory, and support a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Candidates should have 2 years of IT support, an associate degree or equivalent, and strong Windows/AD/Office365 skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years' IT support or helpdesk experience
• Associate's degree in computer technology or related field, certification, or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office 365 products, Active Directory, Windows based PCs and laptops
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; fast-paced, evolving environment
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines; flexible and adaptable; capable of handling a large volume of calls
• Excellent communication; strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Physical and environmental demands: standard office with occasional warehouse/fabrication exposure; travel and off-hours as needed

Responsibilities

• Install, trouble-shoot and repair new and/or existing PCs
• Provide maintenance and administration of both a computer network and connected desktop/laptop computers
• Respond to escalated helpdesk tickets that require more complex or time-consuming problem solving
• Manage IT inventory
• Perform other duties as assigned
