Job summary

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist to support the Defense Logistics Agency and internal users. The role covers installation, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training across hardware and software.

You will diagnose and resolve incidents, develop training materials, maintain problem-tracking databases, and ensure compliance with information security policies. This position may support the eProcurement system(s).

Qualifications

• Must possess IT-II security clearance or NACLC.
• Must have SecureView Server Administrator and SecureView VPN certifications.
• Must have an IAT Level II certification.
• Six years of progressive experience in Information Processing, three of which are specialized and involve hardware/software solutions, with hands-on installation and training.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver customer support services including installation, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training.
• Diagnose and resolve problems in response to customer incidents.
• Plan and analyze work processes and report trends and patterns of problems.
• Develop training materials and conduct computing training sessions.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software; perform backup and recovery operations.
• Consult with users to identify needs and requirements; ensure information security/Cybersecurity policies are applied.
• May support the DLA’s eProcurement system(s).

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a IT Support Specialist to work for our company.

Summary:

This position will support the Defense Logistics Agency. This position covers planning and delivery of customer support services including installation, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training. Functions may include diagnosing and resolving problems in response to customer reported incidents, planning and analysis of work processes, researching and reporting trends and patterns of problems, developing training materials and performing computing/information system training sessions, developing and maintaining problem tracking databases, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software, performing backup and recovery operations, consulting with users to identify needs and requirements, conducting feasibility studies and trade-off analyses, preparing business cases, and ensuring the rigorous application of information security/Cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices. May be required to support DLA’s eProcurement system(s).

Requirements:

• Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
• Must have a SecureView Server Administrator and SecureView VPN certifications.
• Must have an IAT Level II certification.
• Six (6) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, three (3) of which are specialized in Information Processing and involve a range of hardware/software solutions, two (2) of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, diagnosing problems, and training customers in the use of software and hardware.
