Job summary

Stellar Innovations & Solutions Inc. in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our government project supporting onsite at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

The role involves diagnosing and resolving incidents, planning processes, and ensuring security/compliance. The position requires a current Top Secret security clearance, DoD 8570 Baseline Certification: IAT Level II CompTIA Security+, and a range of certifications listed in the posting.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing.
• Three (3) of which are specialized in Information Processing and involve a range of hardware/software solutions.
• Two (2) of which are concentrated, hands on experience in installing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and resolving problems in response to customer reported incidents.
• Planning and analysis of work processes.
• Researching and reporting trends and patterns of problems.
• Developing training materials and performing computing/information system training sessions.
• Developing and maintaining problem tracking databases.
• Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software.
• Performing backup and recovery operations.
• Consulting with users to identify needs and requirements.
• Conducting feasibility studies and trade-off analyses.
• Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/Cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices.
• May be required to support DLA’s eProcurement system(s).

• MUST possess one of the following Computing Environment certifications: MCITP SA, MCITP EA, MCSA: WS2016, MCSE: WS2016, MCSA: WS2016, MCSM:DS, M2012 NET, MCM: Windows Server 2016: Directory, MCA: MS Windows Server Directory, CCAA, GCWN M
