Job summary

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist to support the Defense Logistics Agency in Columbus, OH.

The role covers installation, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training, with responsibilities spanning problem resolution, process analysis, and security policy adherence. Required are IT-II/NACLC clearance, SecureView Server Administrator and VPN certs, IAT Level II, and 6 years of IT experience including hands-on installation and training.

Qualifications

• Must possess IT-II security clearance or NACLC.
• Must have SecureView Server Administrator and SecureView VPN certifications.
• Must have an IAT Level II certification.
• Six years of progressive IT experience, three in Information Processing and two in hands-on installation/diagnosis/training.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver customer support services including installation, troubleshooting, user assistance and training.
• Diagnose and resolve problems in response to user incidents; analyze work processes.
• Develop training materials and conduct computing/information system training sessions.
• Maintain problem-tracking databases and backup/recovery operations.
• Install and troubleshoot hardware and software; consult with users to identify needs and requirements.
• Ensure information security/Cybersecurity policies are followed and support eProcurement systems.

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a IT Support Specialist to work for our company.

Summary:

This position will support the Defense Logistics Agency. This position covers planning and delivery of customer support services including installation, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training. Functions may include diagnosing and resolving problems in response to customer reported incidents, planning and analysis of work processes, researching and reporting trends and patterns of problems, developing training materials and performing computing/information system training sessions, developing and maintaining problem tracking databases, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software, performing backup and recovery operations, consulting with users to identify needs and requirements, conducting feasibility studies and trade-off analyses, preparing business cases, and ensuring the rigorous application of information security/Cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices. May be required to support DLA’s eProcurement system(s).

Requirements:

• Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
• Must have a SecureView Server Administrator and SecureView VPN certifications.
• Must have an IAT Level II certification.
• Six (6) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, three (3) of which are specialized in Information Processing and involve a range of hardware/software solutions, two (2) of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, diagnosing problems, and training customers in the use of software and hardware.
