Job summary

Thrivas is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join its IT Department in Orlando. The role is full-time and permanent, with standard hours Monday through Friday. A generous benefits package follows a 90-day probation.

Travel is expected about twice a year for office setups, and applicants with a degree and IT help desk experience are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will monitor company systems, install and configure hardware/software, diagnose issues, and set up new user accounts

Job description

Large nationwide company is currently hiring an IT Support Specialist for their I.T. Department. The position is full time and a permanent role with the company. The office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The company provides a generous benefits package after a 90 day probationary period.

The company employs over 100 professionals. The focus of this role is to provide technical support over the phone for software and hardware issues or upgrades. This position will require travel (about twice a year) with management setting up a new office, etc. The position works closely with other department staff members and employees in the company. You must be friendly and work very well in a team atmosphere. Applicants who have a degree and some experience working as an IT Help Desk Technician are encouraged to apply.

The I.T. Support Specialist should have a passion for information technology and customer service. The position monitors the Company computer system(s) and networks; install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical issues. Install on-site employee hardware, Diagnoses and solves hardware or software faults, orders and replaces parts as required. Set up new user accounts for employees nationwide. You must be diligent, timely and have exceptional follow through.
