Job summary

Johns Pharmacy is seeking an IT support specialist for in-person duties across multiple locations. You will provide first-line technical assistance for computers, printers, scanners, and user accounts, and set up hardware.

The role requires a high school diploma, plus preferred associate degree in IT and 1–2 years experience. Travel between locations is required; starting pay is $18+ per hour with benefits such as 401(k), health insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An associate degree in IT or related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
• 1–2 years of experience in IT support or related technical role is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and common computer hardware.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between locations are required.
• Eagerness to learn, dependability, detail-orientation, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical assistance for computers, printers, scanners, software, and user accounts.
• Troubleshoot Windows workstations, Google Workspace, email, remote access, and hardware issues.
• Set up and deploy computers, monitors, printers, and other equipment.
• Travel between pharmacy locations and contracted facilities to provide onsite support and install equipment.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory records and technical documentation.
• Assist with workstation upgrades, technology initiatives, and equipment lifecycle planning.
• Escalate complex server, network, and security matters to the Director of IT.
