Job summary

Kern Regional Center is a nonprofit agency delivering community-based services in Kern, Inyo and Mono Counties. The IT Lead provides tier-1 and escalation support for applications, hardware, printers, RingCentral, virtual desktops and network access while ensuring excellent customer service.

Requirements include two years of college in CS/IT or equivalent experience, strong problem-analysis skills, and California driver’s license. Certifications are preferred and nonprofit experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years college with coursework in Computer Science or IT-related degree.
• Demonstrated skills in problem analysis and resolution.
• Microsoft Certifications preferred.
• Non-profit experience a plus.
• Must possess a valid California Driver's License and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and act as first escalation point to the IT Support Team.
• Provide technical support for applications, hardware, printers, mobile devices, RingCentral, virtual desktop, and network access.
• Assist other IT functions with special projects as directed by the IT Manager.
