Job summary

Milliman in Omaha, NE, is seeking an Information Technology Support Spring 2027 Intern (Part-time) to join on-site from January to June 2027. The intern will provide Helpdesk support, install hardware and software, and contribute to IT documentation while gaining mentorship from experienced professionals.

The role requires pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, availability for up to 29 hours weekly, and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Available to work part-time (up to 29 hours per week) at the Omaha, NE office January–June 2027.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform on-site tasks.
• Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Provides Helpdesk support for end-user systems (hardware, software, networking, telecommunication).
• Prioritize tickets based on urgency and available information.
• Conducts research and troubleshooting and documents findings.
• Physically installs and configures new hardware and software.
• Relocates and configures existing equipment; able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Guides users on operation of software and equipment; maintains knowledge base.
• Performs on-site work at the Milliman Omaha office; supports IT staff meetings.
