Job summary

FNBO invites Nebraska students to join our Technology Internship for Summer 2027 in Omaha, NE. The program runs May–August and onsite participation is expected, with mentorship from IT leaders and networking with peers across the bank.

As a Technology Intern, you will work on real projects within an agile team, apply programming concepts, learn FNBO's development standards, and gain hands‑on experience in application development and digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in learning programming concepts (prior experience a plus, but not required).
• Ability to be onsite weekly and attend scheduled summer events.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with IT professionals on real projects within an agile scrum team.
• Contribute as a member of an agile scrum team, collaborating with developers and engineers.
• Apply programming practices and learn FNBO's development standards.
• Support ongoing modernization efforts and test process improvements.
