Job summary

Buildertrend Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Summer Enterprise Technology Intern in Omaha to support IT operations. You will own real tickets from week one and collaborate with senior IT, Systems and Security teammates to keep devices and systems running smoothly.

The role runs during the summer of 2027 and offers hands-on ownership of projects, including software rollouts and AV upgrades, with mentorship and a strong focus on practical learning.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in IT, CS, MIS or related field.
• Methodical troubleshooter who asks questions.
• Clear communicator to explain fixes to nontechnical coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-tier IT support for hardware, software, network, and access issues.
• Set up new-hire equipment, image laptops, and process returns.
• Manage ticket queue and asset tracking in AD and SSO.
• Write help articles and runbooks to boost team self-sufficiency.
• Assist on small projects like software rollouts and AV upgrades.
• Learn endpoint management and Jira usage.
• Apply AI tools to improve work while learning.
