Job summary

Charter Manufacturing is offering an IT Support Technician Internship in Woodstock, IL. You will gain hands-on experience setting up computers, configuring scanners and printers, and resolving employee tech issues through a ticketing system.

The program is a year-round internship with part-time hours during the academic year (15–20 hours/week) and full-time in the summer (40 hours/week). Start date January 2027; enrollment in IT-related degree with GPA 2.75+ required.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a two-year or four-year degree program in IT, MIS, CS, or related field with sophomore status.
• GPA 2.75 or higher.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• End-user IT support: software installation, hardware setup and delivery within our ticketing system.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
• Document and improve processes.
