Intermountain Health in Butte, MT seeks an IT/Help Desk Intern to learn deploying, supporting, maintaining and troubleshooting computers and devices. In-person role with supervision from senior staff, focused on gaining practical experience in a healthcare IT environment.

The intern will document issues in ITIL, work on security policy implementation and assist with projects across the department. 40-hour workweek, $19.29–$24.75 hourly, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong research, organizational and analytical skills as well as the ability to teach users.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a graceful and sensitive manner.
• Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service-oriented environment.
• Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail and scheduling applications.
• Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Resolve minor computer issues under the direction of team members.
• Adequately document notes and resolution to issues in ITIL ticketing system.
• Update support staff regularly on the status of projects, incidents, service requests.
• Respond to messages according to priority schedule and learn to support new and existing systems.
• Implement enterprise defined security policies (hardware and software).
• Work with team members to identify solutions and perform tasks that accomplish goals.
• Gains knowledge of the department's / facility's functions and participate in various projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
