Job summary

GlobalData is seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer for our New York office. You will deliver hands-on technical support to employees including senior leadership, working closely with our global IT team to ensure high service levels.

Responsibilities include onboarding, device provisioning, meeting setup, and contributing to IT projects while supporting cybersecurity and infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience supporting Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365.
• Basic networking knowledge and endpoint management.
• Proactive, organized approach with strong problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a global IT team.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line IT support for local and remote users.
• Build, deploy and support Windows and macOS devices.
• Support Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID and Exchange Online.
• Resolve helpdesk tickets within service levels.
• Manage IT assets and inventory; onboard/offboard employees.
• Set up meeting rooms and support critical meetings.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors on issues.
• Contribute to IT projects and continuous improvements.
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives and global IT rollouts.
