Job summary

Northwood Space is seeking an IT Support Specialist to be the primary contact for internal technology needs. You will ensure hardware, software, and systems run smoothly and securely, enabling employees to work efficiently.

The role covers troubleshooting, asset management, new-hire provisioning, and enforcing security policies under IT leadership guidance. Collaboration with global teams is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in IT support or help desk.
• Experience managing cross‑platform environments (Windows/macOS/iOS/Android).
• Experience with MDM tools (JAMF, Intune, FleetDM).
• Familiar with Okta or similar identity providers.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and handle IT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Handle service requests from internal stakeholders and diagnose incidents.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and manage lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning.
• Set up new hires and offboard departing employees securely.
• Enforce system standards and security policies (encryption, MFA, access control).
