Job summary

Lenet Technology is seeking a motivated Junior Support Engineer to join our team in New York City. You will provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access, helping keep their IT systems running smoothly.

The role involves on-site visits in NYC and NJ, travel between client locations, and collaborating with senior engineers to implement effective solutions. A strong customer service mindset and solid networking knowledge are essential.

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication ability.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
• Knowledge of computer networking, network administration, and hardware/software systems.
• Hands-on experience with Ubiquiti networking equipment and solutions.
• Experience with ConnectWise Manage and RMM tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote desktop software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage and escalate customer requests to appropriate teams.
• Perform on-site visits to client locations throughout New York City and New Jersey.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a personal vehicle are required, as the role involves regular travel to client sites.
• Comfortable traveling between multiple client locations as needed.
• Document and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions.
• Work with senior engineers to develop and implement solutions to recurring issues.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
