Job summary

Plaintalentconnection is seeking an IT Support Specialist to be the single point of contact for all technology needs across the organization. You will support Apple, Windows, and Android devices, manage on-premises Microsoft servers, and administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.

You will help maintain backups, security, and IT policies, while documenting configurations and procedures for staff. A strong troubleshooting mindset and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT support or systems administration.
• Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+) a plus.

Responsibilities

• End-User Support including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues, setting up new employee workstations, accounts, phones and other equipment, and managing offboarding and equipment retrieval.
• Monitor, maintain and secure our network, servers, and equipment
• Manage data backups and disaster recovery
• Administer Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and on-premises accounts and security
• Plan and execute installation of new computer and network equipment as needed
• Maintain clear documentation of systems, configurations, and standard procedures
• Collaborate with management to develop and communicate IT policies to staff
