Job summary

Veranova in West Deptford, NJ is seeking an IT Support Engineer to ensure local and remote infrastructure performs to standard. You will provide on-site support for availability management and assist with global project implementations in line with IT policies.

The role covers configuring and maintaining servers, desktops, networking gear, Azure services, VMware, backups, and DR. You will work with BIS project teams to improve services and keep Veranova’s technology reliable for patients and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field with 3–5 years IT experience.
• Experience with Windows OS, Azure AD, VMware, EntraID, Intune, SharePoint and Exchange.
• Knowledge of hardware dependencies and networked devices in an IT environment.
• IT qualification preferred; GxP regulated environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support local, remote, and cloud infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve end-user software and OS issues.
• Support Azure environments and admin portals including EntraID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Purview.
• Support VMware and backup/DR environments (Veeam, Datto).
• Carry out routine systems operation duties and contribute to BIS service improvements.
• Perform other duties as reasonably instructed.

The IT Support Engineer will ensure infrastructure across the site or collection of sites is performing to standard. Provide local on-site support for availability management and global/regional project implementation activity ensuring local infrastructure delivers to business expectations (SLA) while remaining fully aligned to Veranova IT Policies.

Core Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support local, remote, and cloud-based infrastructure, including Servers, computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones, meeting room equipment, local area networking, WIFI, and other computer and telecommunications equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues associated with end user-based application software, multi-user applications (where unique to site) and operating systems.
• Support/Maintain Azure based environments and administrative portals including, EntraID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams/Teams Phones, Exchange, and Purview.
• Support/Maintain Enterprise based Virtual Hypervisor environments (VMware)
• Support/Maintain Enterprise based Backup/Restore and DR environments (Veeam, Datto)
• Carry out basic systems operation duties requiring local hands and eyes support, including back-up management, supervised server restarts, LAN patching, and cabinet management.
• Contribute to project teams in the improvement of current BIS services and development and delivery of new BIS services.
• To carry out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with 3–5 years of relevant IT experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Experience of working with the following technologies: Windows Desktop Operating systems, Microsoft Azure and AD, Veeam Backup and Recovery, VMware Virtual Server environments, Microsoft EntraID, Intune, Team and Teams Phone, Exchange, SharePoint and Mobile Technology (iPhone/Android).
• Working knowledge of desktop, laptop, server and printer computer hardware dependencies and relationships of networks, phones, mobile devices, PC’s operation systems, databases and applications used in the Veranova environment.
• Holder of a recognized IT qualification or has significant IT experience is preferred.
• Experience working in a Pharmaceutical GxP regulated environment is preferred.

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$95,000. This range represents a good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. In exceptional cases, compensation may exceed the stated range.

All full-time employees are eligible to participate in our annual incentive bonus program. Bonus targets vary by career level and are based on individual and company performance.
