Job summary

Veranova is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, calibrate and install equipment to keep operations running smoothly across its sites. The role also covers facility upkeep and ensuring both locations are in good working order.

Responsibilities include supporting production flow, performing preventive maintenance, assisting with calibration, and advising on spare parts. Travel between sites is required and overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • One to two years’ experience in maintenance or facilities work is desired.
  • Experience in maintaining HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of specialty chemicals / Pharmaceutical manufacturing and mechanical parts, equipment, tools, and supplies is preferred.
  • Must be able to read, understand and comply with work instructions; assigned SOP’s and GMP guidelines; blueprints and vendor drawings.
  • Must be able to maintain good relationships with co‑workers and internal customers.
  • Overtime may be required to ensure production schedules are met.
  • Travel between locations is required.

  • Under the direction of the maintenance/facility leads, perform required tasks to ensure implementation of the preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Assists with calibration activities as directed.
  • Recommends replacement of equipment when necessary, and provides input to the critical spare part list, to be added to inventory.
  • Assists in obtaining work permits, confined space issues, hot works, and line breaks.
  • May perform other related duties as required.

Role Overview

  • Physical requirements: regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands or arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear; climb ladders, reach, and kneel; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, and peripheral vision; color perception; and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Travel between locations is required.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $34–38/hr. This range represents a good‑faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. In exceptional cases, compensation may exceed the stated range.

All full‑time employees are eligible to participate in our annual incentive bonus program. Bonus targets vary by career level and are based on individual and company performance.
