Job summary

Sutherland is seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist for our Rochester, NY office. You will provide frontline support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and help maintain user accounts and IT services.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience in corporate IT environments, plus knowledge of DNS/DHCP/GPO and related tools. On-site work is expected with opportunities to grow technical skills.

Qualifications

• Computer science or related degree required; A+ certification is a strong plus.
• Experience with core IT infrastructure concepts and tools (DNS, DHCP, GPO, network troubleshooting).
• Familiarity with SCCM, Active Directory, Exchange and PowerShell is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world‑class support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot core infrastructure and assist ramp activities for new/existing business.
• Document and repair hardware/software; manage user accounts and permissions.
