Sutherland is looking to hire an IT Help Desk Specialist for our Rochester, NY office. You will deliver world‑class support for desktops, laptops and mobile devices onsite, and troubleshoot core infrastructure.

You’ll manage user accounts, uphold security policies and collaborate with IT teams to improve service delivery and operations. The ideal candidate has a degree in computer science or related field, relevant certifications, and 1–2 years of practical corporate IT experience.

Qualifications

• A relevant computer science or related degree.
• A+ certification is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience supporting corporate IT infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, GPO and basic network troubleshooting.

Responsabilités

• Deliver world-class customer support and service in the maintenance and repair of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance of core infrastructure, assist ramp activity for new/existing business, and liaise with IT Service Delivery.
• Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair desktop and laptop systems and mobile devices across Android, Apple, and Windows.
• Document, maintain, repair, upgrade or replace hardware and software for laptops/desktops and manage user accounts (rights, security, groups, email).
• Be the point of contact using policy guidance to deliver support and positive customer experience.
• Strengthen relationships with SMEs and IT groups in build-out, support, incidents, ramp down, and remote support.
• Work with service delivery and IT team to move/add/change programs and pursue process improvements.
