Job summary

Sutherland is seeking a TEMPORARY IT / Help Desk Specialist for our Rochester NY office. You will provide desktop, laptop, and mobile device support, troubleshoot core infrastructure, and manage user accounts while delivering positive customer experiences.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of corporate tech support, is available for a 2-month assignment, and holds an A+ certification. Onsite work is required in Rochester, NY.

Qualifications

• Temp assignment for 2 months
• Onsite at the Rochester NY facility
• Must have open availability
• 1–2 years of practical experience supporting corporate technology infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, GPO, network troubleshooting)
• Computer science or related degree; A+ certification
• Certifications such as SCCM, VMware, Active Directory, Exchange, Network+ are a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class customer support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
• Troubleshoot and maintain core infrastructure and support ramp activities for new/existing business
• Maintain and repair hardware and software for laptops/desktops; manage user accounts and email access
• Act as primary point of contact following policy, security guidelines, and IT leadership to deliver solutions
• Assist IT groups in build-out, support, incidents, and ramp-down of Service Delivery programs
