Job summary

The City of Tolleson is seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician to provide day-to-day technical assistance for City staff, including computers, phones, software, networking, peripherals, and AV equipment.

The technician installs, configures, maintains, and repairs technology assets; manages user accounts; responds to tickets; and troubleshoots with in-person, phone, email, and remote support. After-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year IT support experience or equivalent.
• Valid Arizona driver's license required.
• IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.) highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to City staff across computers, phones, software, networking, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, maintain, and repair tech assets; manage user accounts and access.
• Document service tickets and knowledge base articles; troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
