Job summary

Willan Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Support Analyst III to support the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (DOC). This hands-on role focuses on enterprise endpoint management, VDI, MECM, and specialized DOC computing environments.

You will troubleshoot complex incidents, manage OS deployments, and support mobile and endpoint technologies in a large government setting, with on-site responsibilities in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM, VMware AirWatch, VDI, Windows endpoint management.
• Experience delivering Level 3 support in large enterprise or government environments.

Responsibilities

Willan Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Support Analyst III to support the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (DOC). This is a hands-on, third-level technical support position supporting enterprise endpoint management, virtual desktop infrastructure, mobile device management, and specialized DOC computing environments.

The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills and practical experience supporting SCCM/MECM, VMware AirWatch, VDI, Windows environments, application deployments, and endpoint technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanicsburg, PA | On-site | 40 Hours/Week

• Provide Level 3 technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, and enterprise endpoint issues.
• Troubleshoot escalated incidents and work with IT support teams and end users through resolution.
• Support SCCM/MECM administration, software deployments, application packaging, and related tasks.
• Maintain and support Operating System Deployment (OSD) task sequences and associated packages.
• Support the VMware AirWatch console, including management of assets and objects.
• Support Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), including user sessions and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support for specialized Pennsylvania DOC inmate computing environments, including troubleshooting, image testing, and customization.
• Review and provide recommendations regarding hardware/software purchases, system integration, and installations.
• Work with users and technical teams to identify business and IT requirements.
• Perform interoperability testing involving operating systems, networks, and application software.
• Evaluate existing computing resources in preparation for migrations and new computing environments.
• Participate in evaluating emerging technologies and their capabilities and limitations within enterprise environments.
• Assist with analysis of security and directory services.
• Test and evaluate applications, beta products, and technologies associated with institutional and agency systems.
• Provide technical guidance and instruction to IT support personnel and end users.

Work Arrangement

On-site - Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania

The position is onsite, with the possibility of remote work only when permitted by business needs and management/supervisor discretion.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, generally 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. Management may offer some flexibility around start time, provided the contractor remains available during DOC core business hours.

Important Requirements

• Candidates must be able to report onsite as required.
• Interviews will be conducted in person at 1920 Technology Parkway, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
• The selected candidate must pick up Commonwealth‑issued equipment on the first day.
• Successful completion of an in-depth background investigation, including fingerprinting, is required.
• Commonwealth/government equipment must never be taken or used outside the United States.
• Candidates must accurately represent their technical experience, and relevant skills must be clearly documented on the resume.

Contract

This engagement is currently funded through June 30, 2027. The final contract end date remains dependent on project scheduling and business needs, and historically additional funding may occur in six‑month or one‑year increments.
