Job summary
JAM is seeking an IT Desktop Support Analyst to support the daily operation of the IT help desk in Philadelphia, PA. The role involves assisting internal employees in person, by phone, or in writing, with hardware, software, and connectivity issues to keep end users productive.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, deploying devices, onboarding new hires, leveraging Fresh Service for ticket management, and coordinating repair efforts with vendors.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a structured IT support role
- Strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware and software
- Proficiency with Windows 10/11 in an enterprise environment
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Mail, OneDrive, Teams) and Active Directory
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and helpful technical support to internal users requiring remote or onsite support for IT hardware and software
- Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems to reduce escalations
- Install, configure, deploy, and manage computers and other IT devices
- Assist with onboarding from an IT perspective
- Utilize the Fresh Service ticketing system to manage tasks and support requests
- Follow up with users to ensure full resolution of issues
- Coordinate timely repair of equipment with third-party vendors
- Assist with inventory management of hardware and software
- Support infrastructure applications/hardware as needed
