Ohio Department of Public Safety – Director’s Office/Information Technology in Columbus, OH seeks an Information Technology Supervisor 2 to lead IT operations. The role includes supervising staff, ensuring 24x7 internal IT support, and managing inventory and vendor repairs.

The position offers teleworking two days per week and onsite three days per week. Salary is $44.38 per hour with a permanent full-time schedule and on-call requirements.

Qualifikationen

• 6 1/2 years (78 mos.) exp. commensurate with job duties to be performed & knowledges & skills required as outlined in approved position description on file for position to be filled as advertised in job posting AND 6 months exp. in performing project management functions as defined in series purpose.
• Completion of undergraduate core coursework in computer science, or completion of undergraduate core coursework in any academic major which included at least one course in each of the following: advanced-level programming languages and related data concepts, database concepts, systems analysis & design.
• Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

• Provide direct supervision, direction & leadership to assigned personnel; review work and provide assistance & guidance; coach staff to foster development; evaluate performance; manage and monitor tickets via tracking system (ServiceNow).
• Oversee the 24x7 support of internal IT customers.
• Coordinate hardware & software repairs with external vendors.
