Job summary

Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC) is seeking an IT Specialist to provide technical support across a 100+ user organization and manage a mixed IT environment including Windows servers, Exchange, Azure, SharePoint, and Meraki devices.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, ticket management, and collaboration with the BI team to ensure reliable systems and secure, efficient tools for staff. Occasional travel to remote offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 platforms and admin portals.
• Working knowledge of Defender for email security.
• Experience using NinjaOne for remote support.
• Basic Meraki network troubleshooting skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., CompTIA A+, Azure Fundamentals).
• Understanding of DHCP, DNS, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, and MAC.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP troubleshooting and wireless access points.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for staff and manage help desk tickets.
• Assist with maintaining Windows servers and network infrastructure.
• Support Office 365, Exchange, Azure, SharePoint, and Intune administration.
• Monitor Meraki devices and contribute to network troubleshooting.
• Create tailored IT solutions for departments to improve efficiency.
