Job summary

Rivers Casino Des Plaines is seeking an IT support professional to maintain network systems and provide high level user assistance on PC and hardware issues. The role involves AD account management, backup operations, and incident documentation in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains network operating systems.
• Secures system data via backup operations.
• Creates and maintains Active Directory accounts.
• Troubleshoots complex system problems and provides high level user support.
• Maintains logs and distributes reports to end users.
• Responds to incoming calls, pages, and emails regarding PC/hardware issues.
• Uses the help desk system for problem reporting and change management; documents hardware events.
• Follows security, backup, recovery and shift turnover procedures.
• Performs duties related to Statewide Self-Exclusion program as described in internal policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains network operating systems.
• Secures system data via backup operation.
• Creates and maintains active directory accounts.
• Troubleshoots complex system problems and provides high level support to users.
• Maintains job logs and distributes reports to end users.
• Receives and responds to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding PC and/or hardware problems.
• Utilizes the help desk system as designed for problem reporting and change management accurately documents instances of hardware failure, repair, installation and removal.
• Follows and enforces all departmental standards, security, run instructions, backup, and recovery and shift turnover procedures.
• Other duties may apply.
• Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of the Rivers Casino – Des Plaines IC.

Job Requirements:

• Computer Science Degree and/or Four (4) Year BA Degree preferred
• Must be able to successfully complete and maintain pre-employment and employment requirements
• Detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task
• Should be proficient in multiple casino software systems including but not limited to KCMS, Infinium, 1st Advantage/HRLogix, Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel
• Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays.
• Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, bending and lifting
