The NYS Office of Information Technology Services is seeking an Information Technology Specialist 2 to join the Emerging Services Dedicated Team. You will act as Operational Support Lead, serving as the external point of contact between client NYS entities and ITS teams, coordinating requests, incidents, projects, and process documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
• Alternative: degree in any field plus IT experience per the NYS requirements.
• Alternative: 60 credits including CS and 1 year IT experience.

Aufgaben

• Serve as Operational Support Lead for the Emerging Services Dedicated Team and act as external point of contact between client NYS entities and ITS teams.
• Guide incidents, requests and initiatives through lifecycle with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain weekly deliverables and oversee escalation of critical incidents/requests.
• Advise stakeholders on ITS business processes, products and services; advocate for client business needs.
• Perform analysis and documentation of processes, identifying areas for improvement and coordinating status reports.
