• Bachelor's degree in computer science with 15 semester credit hours, or bachelor's degree in any field plus one year of IT experience.
• OR 60 semester credit hours in computer science (including 15 in computer science) plus one year of professional IT experience
• OR two years of professional experience in information technology
• One year of permanent competitive service as an IT Specialist 1 (SG-14) for promotion-eligible candidates
• New York State residency required within six months of hiring
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis
