Job summary

UPS is seeking a Technician to oversee the execution of customized IT solutions and organizational initiatives, including root cause analysis, KPI tracking, and SLA compliance. The role involves coordinating internal teams and external vendors, with potential coding or integration work and 24x7 project support.

The position requires on-site work at UPS facilities, travel as needed, and strong communication of technical concepts to diverse users.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (operating systems/software).
• Experience with VPN, Remote Desktop Apps, Active Directory and various Web browsers.
• Preferred Certifications such as A+, Network+.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of IT services, support, and project deployments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.
• Manage cost, staffing, equipment inventory, and system compliance.
• Provide technical training and development to staff and customers.
• Monitor expenses to meet financial metrics and KPIs.
