Job summary

Sammons Financial Group Companies is seeking an IT leader to oversee solution design, project execution and production support across the organization. You will partner with IT and business leaders to ensure scoping, requirements and design align with needs and optimize technology investments.

You will manage an operational IT team, mentor staff, control budgets and drive strategic roadmaps while delivering cost‑effective technology solutions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years leading IT planning, development, support and/or infrastructure teams.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, vendors and cross‑functional programs.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory considerations in IT.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate IT planning, project execution and production support across the organization.
• Align technology solutions with business goals and stakeholder needs.
• Design, develop, implement and support cost‑effective IT solutions for complex problems.
• Direct teams to meet IT service levels and performance targets.
• Mentor and develop team leaders; manage performance and corrective actions when needed.
• Oversee vendor relationships and procurement at the operational level.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and strategic skill mix decisions.
• Ensure compliance with information management policies and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and successful technology transformation initiatives.
