Job summary

West Virginia University (WVU) is seeking an IT Coordinator (Professional Technologist 2) within the College of Creative Arts and Media (CCAM) to support computing, networking, data management and system operations for faculty, staff and invited guests. The role requires fluency in Mac OS, Windows, iOS and Android, and the ability to research and implement new technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of technical IT experience.
Experience providing support for Windows and Mac hardware and software.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Develop IT solutions for CCAM needs or problems.
Identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements within the College.
Work with units to develop IT strategies and improve implementations.
Communicate with faculty and staff to deploy appropriate solutions.
Serve as liaison to University ITS for CCAM IT issues.
Represent CCAM on the University’s Academic IT Leadership committee.
