Job summary

West Virginia University in Morgantown seeks an IT Coordinator (Professional Technologist 2) for the College of Creative Arts and Media to support computing, networking, data management and system administration across academic, research and artistic activities.

The role requires fluency in Mac OS, Windows, iOS and Android, collaboration with faculty and staff, and liaison with University ITS to deploy solutions and maintain labs and specialized peripherals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years technical IT experience.
• Verifiable experience providing technical support for Windows and Mac hardware and software.
• Experience managing, troubleshooting and supporting a wide variety of technologies and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop IT solutions for CCAM needs or problems.
• Identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements across CCAM.
• Collaborate with units to develop IT strategies and improve IT implementations.
• Communicate with faculty and staff to deploy appropriate solutions.
• Serve as liaison to University ITS for CCAM faculty, staff and students.
