Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our backend-focused team. You will work on distributed systems that support solar energy operations, building reliable APIs and contributing to a modern CI/CD-driven development culture.

Design and implement RESTful APIs with Python and FastAPI, run in AWS (RDS, SQS, S3), and maintain infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and Argo.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience, with strong Python skills.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI or a comparable async Python framework.
• Comfort working in a containerized, cloud-native environment (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team.
• Bonus: Experience with React or other frontend frameworks.
