Job summary

Cabinetworks Group in the United States seeks an IT Support Specialist to ensure operational readiness of client computing and peripheral devices, assist end users, and collaborate with server admins and network engineers on implementations and upgrades.

The role requires an Associates degree or 2+ years in IT, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently while communicating clearly. On-call rotation and lifting up to 30 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2+ years IT experience.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem solving and learning ability.
• Experience with Windows, MS Office, browsers, and LAN/WAN/WLAN.
• Ability to work in team or independently and communicate clearly.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and lift 30 lbs.
• Experience with Linux or ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers and technical resources to clarify issues.
• Document, prioritize, and resolve user requests via a tracking tool.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software to support manufacturing and office tasks.
• Assist administrators and engineers with implementations and upgrades.
• Liaise with external resources and contractors as needed.
• Support antivirus remediation and data administration.
• Assist in administration of client data and specialized software.
